History-making St. Lucian production featuring Dame Pearlette Louisy arrives in Lauderdale Lakes on March 29th with author Q&A and book signing
LAUDERDALE LAKES, FL — Iyanola Pictures, a pioneering Caribbean film company founded in St. Lucia, is proud to announce an exclusive South Florida screening of its critically acclaimed feature film, “Shantaye’s World,” under the distinguished patronage of the Consulate General of Saint Lucia in Miami, in collaboration with the Iyanola Cultural Society.
The ticketed screening will take place on Saturday, March 29th at the 3071 NW 47th Terrace Clubhouse, Lauderdale Lakes, Florida. Advance ticket purchase is required. Additional screenings are scheduled to follow in Canada.

“Shantaye’s World” has earned prestigious recognition at the International New York Film Festival, receiving the Gold Award for “Best Feature” in its category, as well as the Gold Award for “Best Film Directed by a Woman of Color.” Critics have praised the film for its powerful storytelling and exceptional cinematography, the result of a creative collaboration between Iyanola Pictures and All Biz Media.
A History-Making Achievement
This screening marks a historic milestone for Caribbean cinema. “Shantaye’s World” is accompanied by a full-length novel, creating a unique multimedia experience. The creative visionary behind this captivating story, Mathurine Emmanuel, recipient of the St. Lucia Medal of Merit (Gold) for Outstanding Contribution to Arts and Film Production, will be in attendance. Guests will have the opportunity to participate in a live Q&A session following the film and a book signing with the author.
