Fourth Annual Women’s History Month Celebration Explores Empowerment Through Wellness and Healthy Living at Island SPACE Caribbean Museum

Plantation, FL ? In celebration of Women?s History Month, Musée des Caraïbes Island SPACE et Caribbean Professionals Network present their Fourth Annual Women?s History Month Celebration, an inspiring and empowering event dedicated to honoring the strength, resilience, and achievements of women. Taking place on Sunday, March 16, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., this year?s gathering will highlight the importance of wellness, healthy living and cultural pride while celebrating the incredible contributions of women. Caribbean Views on Beauty Standards

This year?s theme, Unmasking Our Beauty, explores the many layers of beauty?both internal and external?that shape women?s identities. Attendees will enjoy expert-led discussions on hair wellness, makeup and skincare, healthy sexual aging, and the healing benefits of juicing.

Renowned psychologist, professor, author, philanthropist, and advocate, Dr. Guerda Nicolas will deliver a powerful keynote address, ?Women: Mental Health and Cultural Integration,? discussing the intersection of mental health and cultural identity while emphasizing the practice of self-compassion through challenging life experiences. 

As part of the panel discussion moderated by Shatik Stephens?author and owner of The Finer Essence, Inc., specializing in pageant prep, modeling, wardrobe and image consultation?distinguished presenters will include:

  • Marjorie Hollingshead ? Skincare specialist and founder of Zainabu Natural Skincare. Hollingshead will discuss makeup artistry and ways to enhance beauty using natural ingredient-based products with minimal chemicals to optimize skin health.
