Island SPACE Caribbean Museum and Le P’ti Club Inc. invite the South Florida community to The Plantation Grand Premier of Trezò Lakay—a powerful cultural showcase taking place on Saturday, December 7, 2025, from 5:30 PM to 10:00 PM at Island SPACE Caribbean Museum in Plantation, Florida.
This special event brings together filmmakers, authors, poets, performers, and cultural leaders to celebrate, preserve, and elevate Haitian stories and artistic heritage, all while supporting the Plantation, FL premier of the new documentary, Trezò Lakay. Guests will experience an evening of film, poetry, literature, live conversation, and performance, all designed to highlight Haiti’s creative legacy and its enduring spirit of resilience.
The program includes a Q&A with documentary producer Kapi, a live podcast talk show, theatrical poetry, book signings, and live performances. The evening also serves to honor Maestro Loubert Chancy, recipient of the inaugural Philippe Dodard Lifetime Achievement Award, presented in recognition of his tremendous cultural impact and contributions to Haitian arts.
