Island SPACE Rum Cake and Black Cake Fest
To kick off the holidays ?tastefully,? Island SPACE Caribbean Museum presents the annual Rum Cake and Caribbean Black Cake Fest.

In collaboration with the Caribbean Professionals Network and some of South Florida?s most talented bakers, this annual celebration brings the warmth of Caribbean holiday traditions to life.
Indulge in the Flavors of the Islands:
Sample a delightful spread of traditional rum cake and the beloved black cake?a dark, spiced fruitcake cherished across English-speaking Caribbean islands. Whether you?re a longtime fan or discovering these delicacies for the first time, you?re sure to find a new favorite for your Thanksgiving and Christmas feasts.
Event Highlights
- Cake Tastings: Savor an array of expertly crafted rum cakes and black cakes, each with unique flavors and ingredients.
- Caribbean Holiday Music: Enjoy the sounds of parang, reggae Christmas classics, and more as you celebrate the season.
- Museum Experience: Explore exhibits showcasing the rich history, culture, and artistry of the Caribbean.
- Festive Drinks & Community Spirit: Sip on light holiday beverages and connect with fellow cake lovers in a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
