Caren Muir has over 20 years of professional experience in education management. She currently serves as the Vice President of Student Finance focusing on ensuring all student financial matters can be resolved to address student needs, reduce bad debt, increase enrollment and retention rates. There, Muir developed and executed a strategic company-wide plan for transitioning from outdated Third-Party Servicer, thus eliminating $1million in past dues. This major implementation included training, implementing teams responsible for quality control, electronic processing, staff development, internal audit and administration of financial aid delivery. 

Muir also has a track record of being responsible for interpretation of Department of Education regulatory guidelines as Corporate Director of Financial Aid Training and Compliance at ATI Enterprises, Inc. 

When not administering Island SPACE, Caren spends time with her family, including her husband, David Muir.
