An accomplished professional with a rich history of public service, Stephanie Desir-Jean has dedicated years to fostering positive change in the political landscape. From 2019 to 2022, she served as the District Secretary for the Honorable Dan Daley, State Representative of Florida. In this capacity, she demonstrated exceptional skills in constituent services, effectively communicating with state and federal agencies to address and resolve issues. She played a pivotal role in organizing the Representative’s schedule and served as a key liaison with various community leaders.

The journey in public service began earlier in ger career from 2001 to 2010, when she served as a Congressional Aide/District for Representative Alcee L. Hastings in the U.S. Congress. Her le included constituent services, where she effectively communicated with federal agencies to resolve issues, managed case files, and served as a point person and liaison for the office to agencies such as the Department of Homeland Security, Department of Education, Bureau of Prisons, and the Office of Management and Budget.

Following this role, Stephanie Desir-Jean transitioned to the State of Florida Courts, where she served as a Judicial Assistant for the Honorable Judge Ari Abraham Porth where she organized the Judge’s schedule, set cases for the docket, and handled various administrative tasks crucial to daily courtroom proceedings.

Prior to her tenure with the State of Florida, Stephanie Desir-Jean served as the Special Projects Coordinator at The August Company from 2015 to 2019. She was responsible for monitoring the Florida Legislature on behalf of public and private sector clients, tracking legislation, and producing comprehensive legislative reports. Her role included acting as a liaison between partners and clients, and she took the lead on managing the firm’s special projects.

In addition to her professional roles, Stephanie Desir-Jean actively engages in civic and community building activities. She served on the Board of Directors for Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies from 2003 to 2005 and played integral roles in the City of Fort Lauderdale, including membership in the Centennial Committee (2010-2011) and service as a Planning and Zoning Board Member from 2010 to 2018.
